Advancing the Future of EB-5

How Our CEO and Industry Leaders Are Helping Shape Policy on Capitol Hill

Our CEO, Kyle Walker, joined other industry leaders on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC this week to advocate for the advancement of recent key legislation that supports the implementation of the 2022 EB-5 Reauthorization. IIUSA and the Association’s lobbyist, Commonwealth Strategic Partners, have been working tirelessly with program champions like Congressman Greg Stanton and Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick to introduce H.R. 7220 – To establish, in USCIS of the Department of Homeland Security, an EB-5 Regional Center Program Advisory Committee.

This important piece of legislation is intended to create a dialogue between stakeholders and the agency to ensure the implementation of the 2022 Reform and Integrity Act is done in a transparent way that is (1) consistent with Congress’ writing of the law, it (2) maximizes the benefits and integrity of the Program, and (3) minimizes disruption to the countless investors and projects that are creating meaningful economic impact in our communities and in the creation of US jobs.

Green Card Fund would like to personally thank Congressman Greg Stanton for being a friend to the EB-5 Program, our company, and EB-5 investors over the last 10+ years.  It started with his work as the Mayor of Phoenix and continues on in Congress – Congressman Stanton has been a champion of EB-5 and has seen first-hand the incredible economic impact the Program can have on our communities.

Green Card Fund continues to engage in the Leadership of IIUSA to advance these important issues that solidify the foundation of the EB-5 Program, allowing it to flourish for local communities and provide predictable and timely pathways for our investors.
