As part of our GCF Enhanced Standards for project underwriting, Green Card Fund makes educating investors about our project industries a top priority.  By simplifying access to information, GCF puts more knowledge in the hands of our investors, allowing them to make confident, well-informed decisions about their path through the EB-5 process.  Over time, our industry resource library will grow to cover a wide range of topics related to EB-5 projects and target industries - so check back regularly for updates and new content to be added periodically.

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is the United States government's principal agency for protecting the health of all Americans and providing essential human services, especially for those who are least able to help themselves.  HHS represents almost a quarter of all federal outlays and it administers more grant dollars than all other federal agencies combined.  HHS' Medicare program is the nation's largest health insurer, handling more than 1 billion claims per year.  Medicare and Medicaid together provide health care insurance for one in four Americans.

Healthcare.gov is a new consumer website that provides unprecedented transparency into the health care marketplace.  Through Healthcare.gov individuals will have more control over their health care as informed and empowered consumers.

The Section 242 program is administered by the Office of Hospital Facilities (OHF) within the Office of Healthcare Programs.  Section 242 of the National Housing Act provides mortgage insurance for acute care hospital facilities ranging from large teaching institutions to small rural critical access hospitals.  For additional information on the HUD Program, please use this link.
